The rapid growth of enterprise wireless use has largely occurred in an ad hoc way. Only 36% of executives in Enterprises believe their company has developed a clear strategy for the global use of mobile technologies, with plans for implementation, monitoring, security and trouble-shooting.

What should an enterprise's mobile strategy encompass? For a start, management should recognise that mobile working touches on issues involving human capital (people), physical assets (offices), as well as, of course, the technology choices that companies make.

As a third step, we recommend to choose a technology and to implement it on a step-by-step in the Enterprise, starting with actions giving the best and quicker return of investement.
